LIDL's Self Watering Balcony Flower Box. £3.99
Today (09th March 2010) I popped into my local LIDL Store (Sleaford, Lincolnshire, UK) and stumbled upon the deal of the centaury.
They had on offer in the gardening specials 'Florabest' Self Watering Flower Boxes, they made of plastic, 60 x 22.5 x 18CM and come in either Blue, White or Terracotta. They are very similar in design to the EarthBox system that retail for £34.95 GBP only LIDL's vers ion is £3.99 GBP!
I have included a couple of pictures of my planters growing my NAGA bhut / bih / march Chilies which are incidentally the worlds hottest chilies! They are sometimes known as the 'Ghost Chili.'

Here you can see the reservoir fill float, the red stick rises when you fill the water trap.
