Top Gear Test Tesla Electric Car
Tonight Top Gear put the Tesla electric performance car through it's paces. Although they had some teething problems with the motor overheating and brakes failing Clarkson seemed to have tons of fun!
Top Gear claimed that although Tesla Motors claim 200 miles per recharge they were only getting 50 or so miles between charges and at 16 hours per full charge from a standard 13A domestic outlet.
The age of the electric car is hopefully on the horizon.
