Some unanswered questions I personally have.
One thing I am finding really hard to get my head around is that recently Raymond Proenneke found a whole stack of Dick's Manuscripts bundled into a cupboard.
Why is it by now that ALL Dick's manuscripts have not been collated, indexed and scanned for the sake of history? I can only feel that those in position of them have little interest in making them public domain, this is a piece of history that needs to be out there for others to study, read and learn from??
One other thing... Towards the end of Dick's days at Twin Lakes he did less documenting and kept most of his notes on his calendars, somewhere there must be 30 calendars from his stay... Has no one got these? I am sure there is such a demand to get these scanned and documented for others?
Anyone else feel there are a few out there keeping the info away from the many?
Such a shame that all this info was tirelessly documented for them to just sit somewhere and gather dust..
Also is there a record anywhere of Dick Proenneke's library of books he kept and read throughout his stay? I know he mentions some of them in the literature I have read but it would be great to know what books he had in his Twin Lakes Cabin???
